FDA Haryana and police raid, consignment of medicines recovered
Kaithal, Haryana: Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana and CIA Forest Police raided a house in village Chuharmajra. The team has caught a consignment of 16 types of allopathic medicines in huge quantity.

These medicines include shortness of breath, abdominal pain, cough, cold, allergy and other types of medicines, whose cost has been estimated in thousands.

When the team raided, the landlord was not found there. When his worker was questioned, neither any medicine bill nor license was found.

FDA Haryana has issued a notice to the landlord from where the medicines kept illegally in the house were purchased. Medicines kept at home have been sealed in two boxes.

The landlord has been identified as Surjit Singh, while his worker is Satbir, who was present at the spot during the raid. Due to this action by the FDA Haryana, there was a stir among the drug dealers.

In the Dhand area, even before, the department has caught medicines by raiding.

Earlier also a team of FDA Haryana had seized the medicines in Dhand. A youth from Jind was caught selling MTP kits in Dhand area, which he used to buy from Delhi and illegally supplying medicines to the surrounding area including Dhand.

The said youth lived on rent in a colony of Kaithal. FIR was registered in Dhand police station against the said person.

Similarly, the team of FDA Haryana had raided a shop in village Mundari. Stock of medicines had seized and samples were sent for testing and analysis.

Rajneesh Dhaniwal, Drugs Control Officer, said, "On the basis of secret information, the team of FDA Haryana has raided the village, namely Chuharmajra." 16 types of medicines have been recovered from there. The person who was found present at the premises could not produce the drug license or any other document related to the seized drugs. "A notice has been issued to the said landlord".
