STF raids on Fake Pharmaceutical Companies, 15 lakh fake tablets recovered
Dehradun/Haridwar: Uttarakhand STF has taken major action against counterfeit medicines. The team has raided several pharma companies in Laksar, Bhagwanpur and Saharanpur in Haridwar.

At the same time, the raiding process of the team is going on. It is being told that fake medicines were being supplied from these companies across the country.

Uttarakhand STF was monitoring these companies for the last 2 months.

In the raids of Uttarakhand STF in well-known companies of Bhagwanpur, Laksar, Saharanpur, pharmaceutical goods, chemical made medicines have been recovered.

The action of the STF team is currently going on. According to the information, fake medicines worth more than 15 lakhs have been recovered. Items to make counterfeit medicines worth more than one crore have been found.

These medicines were supplied across the country through courier, transport. SSP STF Ajay Singh said that for a few days, information was being received about selling fake medicines in the markets.

On the basis of which three places were identified late on Saturday night. One pharma company of Bhagwanpur, Laksar and Saharanpur was identified. According to STF, fake medicines are packaged here by making wrappers.

Similarly the factory was marked in Saharanpur area, where the STF team reached, then there were boxes of fake medicines and vaccines.

So far 10 to 15 lakh antibiotic tablets have been recovred. Rappers from different companies have been found.

A drug inspector has been appointed in this case and the verification is going on. In this case 5 people are being questioned.
