NDPS drug found sold at unlicensed Medical Stores, FIR lodged
In village Saidpur, district Sonepat, Haryana, a team of Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana, Health Department and Police raided a medical store.

Drugs, including injections, have been recovered from the medical store, which falls under NDPS. The medical store operator was selling these drugs without obtaining a license from FDA Haryana.

A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act at Kharkhoda police station.

Sandeep Hooda, Drugs Control Officer, Sonepat, FDA Haryana had reached Saidpur along with the team of Health Department and police force. It was found that many drugs were stocked in the said medical  store.

The team searched the medical store and recovered many types of drugs, including 500 tablets of Alprazolam, 136 tablets of Tramadol and 5 injections of pentazocine from the medical store. These medicines fall under NDPS.

On demand of the team, the medical store operator could not produce the required license for the stock, sale and exhibition of the recovered medicines.

All the medicines were seized by Sandeep Hooda. The police arrested the accused by registering a case under the NDPS Act.

The Police Officer Pawan Kumar has produced the accused in court and taken him on remand for two days.
