The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India for the post of Drug Inspector as detailed below.

Age as on 30.09.2022 I. Not less than 18 years old or more than 32 years old.II. Relaxation of 5 Years in Upper Age Limit for APST applicants.
III. Additional relaxation of 5 Years in Upper Age Limit for applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government Departments of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. For APST PwD Candidates, Upper Age Limit will be relaxed to 15 years.
Educational Qualification(i) A degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry with pharmaceutics as a special subject from any recognized university or the associated diploma of the institution of chemists (India) by passing the examination with analysis of drugs and pharmaceuticals as one of the subjects or
(ii) Graduation in medicines or sciences of a university recognized for this purpose by the appointing authority and have at least one-year post-graduation training in lab Under (a) A Govt. Analyst or a chemical examiner or (b) the head institution especially approved for the purpose by the appointing authority.
How to apply 1. Only 'Online' through the APPSC Website
2. One-Time Registration on Commission's Website is mandatory Once registered, all future applications for any post/vacancy can be submitted using a Login ID and Password).
3. Submit only one application. In the case of more than one application, an Application with a higher RID only will be valid.
4. Fee has to be paid separately for each application and is non-transferable.

Selection Process (Two Stages) A Written Examination followed by an Interview or Viva-VoceWritten Examination. Eligible applicants will be required to undertake a written examination in the following subjects (MCQ) as per Annexure(A), Scheme of Examination.(a) General English---100 Marks(b) General Knowledge 50 Marks.(c) Optional Subject(Technical) — 150 Marks.(d) Viva-Voce 40Marks
To qualify, an Applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject Of such qualified candidates, a number of three times the advertised posts (Approximately 24), in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the Interview/Viva- Voce.
Interview/Viva-VoceTotal Marks 40 Will be conducted on the premises of the Commission.
NOTEThe Commission reserved the right to conduct a 'Recruitment Test’(Preliminary Test), if the number of Applicants is significantly large.
The 'Recruitment Test' will be Multiple Choice, Objective Type, to be answered on OMR Sheet on Optional Papers (Technical Subject).
Based on the Order of Merit of the 'Recruitment Test', Applicants, twelve times the advertised posts (Approximately 96), will be eligible and invited for the Written Examination.
Final Merit List of Successful Applicants notified by this Commission will be based on the aggregate marks of the Written Examination and Interview/Viva-Voce.
