Visakhapatnam: Fumes released from a reactor reportedly due to high pressure and temperature created a panic situation in Corey Organics Private Limited at JNPC-Parawada in Anakapalli district on Saturday.

Workers ran for safety after the mishap and fortunately, there were neither injuries nor casualties in the incident.

The Parawada police said the situation was under control.

The leaders and activists of CPM alleged that it is the third mishap in the Corey Organics in the past few years.

They demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the incident and initiate action against the management of the company for ignoring the safety mechanism in the company.
